The backgrounds of these associates include petroleum and mechanical engineering, drilling and well site supervision, metallurgy, structural analysis, pollution clean-up, soil conservation, reservoir analysis, along with component testing and analysis.
Roger Armstreet - President
Roger is a 1969 graduate of Lamar State College of Technology in Beaumont, Texas. He is an active member of the Gulf Coast Chapter of The Society of Petroleum Engineers, and holds an All-Lines adjuster license in Texas. He also holds an adjuster license in Oklahoma. He has attended numerous drilling schools, well control and hazardous material courses, and has been a featureed speaker at the petroleum Insurance Conference on several occassions. He has served as chairman of the Houston Energy Adjusters Committe, been a participating speaker at the Energy Adjusters Conference in Norway, and has written articles for the Oil and Gas Journal and other oil industry publications.
Following graduation from Lamar, he spent the first ten years of his career as an engineer for various oilfield manufacturers and service companies. This included serving as a design technician for Hughes Tool Company, project engineer for the Koomey Division of Stewart and Stevenson, design engineer for Worldwide Oil Tools and engineering manager for Farr Oil Tools.
in 1980 he made a career change from engineer to adjuster, and joined the international loss adjusting firm of Brocklehurst. Due to his background in the design and installation of blowout preventer control systems and equipment, he soon became involved in handling blowout claims for insurers, and has been involved in handling numerous blowout losses on an international basis, both onhorse and offshore during his adjusting career. He was named president of Brocklehurst in 1982, and served in that capacity for sixteen years. In 1996 he joined the U.K. firm of Bateman Chapman Limited as President and CEO of their U.S. Operation. After eight years in that capacity, he left Bateman Chapman in June 2004 and formed Armstreet Associates, LLC.
During his energy adjusting career, he has dealt with a broad variety of claims, both onshore and offshore, including rig and platform physical damage, control of well, construction and builders risk, along with seepage and pollution and liability claims. Additionally, his experience includes a broad spectrum of traditional non-marine losses involving refineries, petrochemical complexes, both from the standpoint of physical damage and business interruption, along with losses involving electric power generation equipment and components.
Todd Armstreet - Vice President
Todd graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He is an active member of the Gulf Coast Chapter of The Society of Petroleum Engineers, and holds adjuster licenses in Texas and Oklahoma. He has attended numerous specialized courses in subsurface completion tools, and BOP control systems, along with well control schools and drilling and production seminars.
Todd gained valuable experience early in his career working as an adjuster and surveyor for Brocklehurst International during college and, after graduation in 1994; he became employed full-time as an Energy Adjuster. After two years service with Brocklehurst, he joined Bateman Chapman Limited as adjuster in 1996 and served in that capacity for eight years. In June 2004, he left Bateman Chapman to form Armstreet Associates, LLC.
During his adjusting career, he has dealt with a variety of physical damage claims worldwide, involving drilling rigs onshore and offshore, platforms, pipelines, gas plants, production equipment, etc. and has been involved in conducting valuation surveys for drilling equipment schedules. He has handled a variety of large losses involving offshore mobile drilling units, including semi-submersibles, drillships and jack-ups with elements of both physical damage and loss of hire (LOH). He has also gained experience involving builder's risk, well control, general liability and loss of production income (LOPI) claims, as well as losses associated with pipeline ruptures, fuel spills and related incidents.
Jeffery Armstreet - Vice President / Treasurer
Jeffery earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas in 1999, and a Master of Science Degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas in 2001. While attending university, Jeffery gained experience between semesters by working part time, assisting with computer audit assignments for Brocklehurst International.
After attaining his Masters Degree, Jeffery served as a part time consultant to Bateman Chapman, assisting adjusters with preparation of computer audit schedules and also conducting research and data assembly to assist adjusters with various large claim assignments. In June 2004, Jeffery was instrumental in the organization and formation of Armstreet Associates, LLC. In August 2004 he became licensed to practice as an adjuster in Texas.
